Romans 15: 1- 6
Those of us who are strong must accept as our own burden the tender scruples of the weak, and not just to please ourselves.
Each of us must consider His neighbour and think what is for his good and will build up the common life.
Christ too did not please Himself; to Him apply the words of scripture, “The reproaches of those who reproached you fell on me.”
The scripture written long ago were all written for our instruction, in order that through the encouragement they give us we may maintain our hope with perseverance.
And may God the source of all perseverance and all encouragement, grant that you may agree with one another after the manner of Christ Jesus,
and so with one mind and one voice may praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
